Welcome to the start of the rest of your life! First year is pretty crazy: it’s going to be full of ups and downs and over before you know it. As your CU reps we want to provide a place where you can be yourself and give you the opportunity either to explore faith for the first time or to continue growing as a Christian. Every Wednesday evening promises to be a time full of laughter, friendship, prayer, bible-study and occasionally cake. We want to encourage each other in replicating the life of Jesus and showing what it really means to follow him. As well as this we intend to stuff your face with toasties, put on BBQs, organise football tournaments, arrange movie nights and provide you with some form of light relief for when the buzz of Fresher’s year gets too much.  Basically you’re all invited to spend the year with us and we can’t wait to get to know you all!

Ben- Studying Computer Science, He loves socialising with friends, watching and playing football (Supports Arsenal and Bristol City, Drink up thee Cider!), Xbox, The Apprentice and playing Risk and Perudo.
Interesting Fact: A bird once pooed directly in my eye

Ellie- German and Italian – hugely enthusiastic girl who loves Gilmore Girls, Cath Kidston and caffene. Spends most of her time chatting, blogging and rehearsing for shows.
Interesting Fact: Ellie spent three years of her life being a basketball fanatic and was desperate to be the first British woman in the WNBA. This is no longer the case, because she soon discovered that she was appalling at basketball.

Joe-Studying Mechanical Engineering, supports Birmingham FC, enjoys his real tennis (ranked in the top 3000) and Badminton. Overtly competitive, he will play almost anything.
Interesting Fact: On his first round of golf he got smacked round the head with a golf club (has never played again)
