Welcome to Bristol University (good choice) and Churchill (even better one). Hall CU is to support you guys in hall while you’re here. It’s a great time to read God’s word and get to know Jesus better whether you’ve known him for ages or are just investigating what he says about himself for the first time. Everyone is welcome. There’s also lots of cake, tea, laughter and encouragement. Some of the best memories from first year are from Hall CU times. We meet Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the Holmes. University is a great opportunity to live for Jesus and we’re excited about joining you in reaching this Hall with God’s gospel of grace.

Big Welcome to you, my name is Ben. There isn’t much to know about me really. I study Electrical & Electronic Engineering which is exactly as interesting as it sounds. I thoroughly enjoy music and unlike Jono, have what I would call a decent taste. I am a big coffee fan and enjoy the odd competitive board game. Articulate is my favourite although it’s hard to beat a +500 point round of scrabble. Hey I’m Becca. I’m from Sheffield so the token northerner of the group. I’m a medic which sounds hectic but apparently second year is better than first so I’ll be around for coffee lots. Starbucks, Costa, Boston Tea Party – take your pick. I’m living in Clifton down near uni so when the novelty of Hall food wears off you’re most welcome to come and eat at my house and sit in a lounge on a sofa! I love baking so will hopefully be bringing lots of cake to CU. I’m so looking forward to meeting you and excited about all the things God’s going to teach us from his word and the opportunity to serve in Churchill Hall alongside you this year.

Hi there, I’m Jono and I am studying Maths – pretty cool huh? As Ben mentioned I have a truly phenomenal taste in music, including the likes of Taylor Swift and Scouting for Girls. I will be living in Churchill in the Holmes in Room 22, so feel free to come and find me anytime.
