Are you living in a Student house, private accommodation or at home? Then this is the place for you! Orbital is a place where you can come chill out, drink tea (or the hot beverage of your choice), be encouraged and learn more about what our Saviour did for us.
Whether you’ve been a Christian for years or wouldn’t call yourself a Christian at all, it’d be cool for you to join us to explore what the Bible is all about.
We meet on Wednesday evenings at 8.30pm in the Multifaith Chaplaincy.
Hi all! I’m Christa and studying Computer Science, although I wouldn’t say I’m your typical CS student (one point being that I’m a girl). A couple of things first year has taught me: do not underestimate the benefits of a power nap! But more importantly how faithful God is and the truth of Philippians 4v6-7! Looking forward to meeting all you soon to be Orbitrons and seeing what God has in store for us over this year!
Heya Peeps! I’m Nick from the glamorous City of Portsmouth (League One beckons us, sad times). I was drawn to Bristol by the “joys” of Maths and Computing and when I’m not busy doing Maths or Computing I spend my time reading sci-fi (holds head high in geeky pride)/hanging out with friends/marvelling at God’s awesomeness. God has been so good to me this last year: Isaiah 41:13 in action, and I pray you will discover this truth anew in the next year also!
Hey! I’m Hannah and I’ve come from the Isle of Wight to this strange place that is the ‘mainland’ to study Biochemistry! I’m living near the uni next year and love nothing more than to curl up with a nice cup o’ tea for a chat or good movie, so feel free to drop by if you need feeding, an ear to listen or just want to chill on a sofa.
This year has been a roller-coaster but man, God is GOOD and you can trust in him – check out Psalm 9:10. So excited to meet you all!
Hello there! I’m Jonty, from Snowdon in North Wales (literally the mountain, so it’s quite different back there!) to study Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Since coming to Bristol I have had many adventures (i.e. cooking) and met so many amazing people. Our Father God is releasing great things in this city and I can’t even comprehend the plans he has for us all next year. I look forward to welcoming you into the Orbital family and I love spending time with people so I’ll be free for you anytime (almost). Ephesians 1:17 – 18 to you
