So you’ll be coming to University Hall next year. Great stuff!!! Its probably safe to say you’ll be coming here for one of two reasons. You absolutely love cooking, fancying yourself as a bit of a Jamie Oliver or Delia Smith, then you saw it was the cheapest hall available and thought perfect!! Or you got rejected from your other choices. Well never worry, we had a great time living in UH and its a great place to see God at work in the students around you.

The Christian Union group at UH is a weekly meeting with Bible study, prayer, worship and fellowship, all the usual God stuff. There is also a big chance for Evangelism with the UHCU group, rather than trying to reach the whole of your year on your own.

Really the CU is there for you. If you are a Christian, and reading this, then get in touch with one of us asap. Being a Christian is not easy, especially at Uni. I can’t tell you how much things might change this next year for you, but just remember that our relationship with God is the most precious and amazing thing we have. Us 4 reps will support you as much as we can, but you gotta get in touch with us. We will be around in freshers week, we will be in UH every week and we are on the fb group, just search University Hall CU. We look forward to meeting each of you and have already started praying for you guys coming next year.

from left to right: Pete, Elle, Jonathan and James

Reps:

James. I’m a Medic, starting second year. First year has been great, but as I write this I am awaiting results for our exams. Lets just hope I get back in to Uni to actually meet you guys.

Jonathan Hyde, studying Physics and loving it. I also got baptized in Bristol this year so if you need help settling into a church, no-one does it faster than me.

Pete Christopher: I’m studying Civil Engineering, but also spend some of my spare time reading up on theology, so I’m ready to tackle any questions you might have.

Elle Townsend: I’m studying cellular and molecular medicine and also working at boots. I love fancy dress so if I see you in freshers week be ready.
