Wills Hall CU 2012-13

Email: wills@bristolcu.org.uk

We’re here to help you make your mind up about Christianity and encourage you to come along to discuss whatever views you might have. We are a group of students who meet together on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Quiet Room in N House to learn more about Jesus Christ and why His life and death are important for us in our daily lives.

We usually start off the night chilling about over tea and/or snacks before looking into the Gospel. We always love a good discussion and welcome anyone to join us.

Kate, Keillian and Rachel

Rachel Dalton (Room L17)
Rachel may be shorter than Keillian and Kate in stature but she makes up for the height difference in her bubbly personality!! Rach is always enthusiastic about life and I have definitely learnt a lot from being around her (particularly around exam time, she is a great person to have around when you’re feeling stressed!) and I know I wouldn’t have grown nearly so much in my Christian faith this year if it hadn’t been for her!

During her Gap Year, Rach went travelling and visited many exotic places, notably Kenya and Cambodia, and she would love to go back, hopefully taking me with her! Her passion and love for other people definitely make her someone you love to be around, so look out for her next year, she’ll always be at hand when you need someone to make you smile, or just want a chat!
–Rachel’s FUN FACTS!–
Rach’s favourite cocktail is a Long Island Iced Tea- make her one of these and she’ll be forever grateful!
Rach makes the best chocolate brownies in the United Kingdom.
Rachel is really excited about meeting all the Freshers next year! So come and knock on her door for a chat and a cup of coffee/tea/squash (whatever your preference)!!
-Kate

Keillian Tai (Living away from Wills)
When not blowing things up, working on new inventions or mixing dangerous substances in the Chemistry labs (he assures us that it is all part of his degree, sometimes we’re not so sure!), Keillian can be found playing basketball or helping Rachel and Kate to climb through windows, into trees or reaching things that are far too high! Always willing to lend a hand with an eagerness to serve, Keillian has a real joy for the Lord, a gentle spirit and has been blessed with God’s wisdom. With a great sense of humour, excellent spying skills and loveable character, Keillian is a great friend for you to get to know over the next year!

–Keillian’s FUN FACTS!–
High score on ‘bop-it’ is 10 points and Keillian gets unusually over excited about snow!
-Rachel

Kate Jefferies (Room Z19)
Kate is a very cheerful character, you rarely catch her frowning. She’s upbeat, fun, and a genius at LLB. So any future lawyers out there need any help you know where to go. I got to know Kate very well this year and she’s helped me grow in my faith and understanding in our saviour, Jesus. I hope that all three of us can help you freshers along in your spiritual path just as mine has grown in my first year.
Kate also loves the sun, so if you’re looking for her during summer term she’s most likely chilling in the croquet lawn.
–Kate’s FUN FACTS!–
Hometown: Preston, Lancashire
Favourite lines: “Cheers mate”… “Soz lad”…
-Keillian
